Cub sweatshirt£17.00
Scout shirt, belt & hoodie£42.00

Group subsidy

If paying for any aspect of Scouting is a problem for you, please speak to a leader in confidence as we will not let this prevent any young person from participating fully.

Leaders pay nothing

Our leaders give generously of their time, skill and enthusiasm. The Group covers all their costs of training, uniform and event fees.

Fundraising

Although our fees are low many of our costs are not! The Group needs to maintain its meeting place and equipment including the Scout minibus, trailer, tents, &c. We also pay fees to the UK Scout Association of which we form part. This means that we frequently conduct fundraising events such as bag-packing at supermarkets and socials.

We also maintain a trust fund from which we can subsidise the subscriptions, event and other costs of any young people who cannot afford the full cost of Scout membership.

Gift Aid

As a registered charity (number 303760), we can claim tax back on any monies you donate to us (including termly subscriptions).
