What we do and when we meet

7th Malden Scout Group runs activities for young people according to the Scout Association model which splits provision into age related sections.

All sections are open to boys and girls of all faiths and backgrounds.

• Squirrels (4 to 6 years) – not currently offered at 7th Malden
• Beavers (6 to 8 years) – Thursday 5.30pm to 6.30pm
• Cubs (8 to 10½ years) – Thursday 6.45pm to 8.15pm
• Scouts (10½ to 14 years) – Friday 7.30pm to 9.30pm

Above 14 years of age young people move on the Explorer Scout, Scout Network and other Scouting sections all of which operate in the local area.

• Explorers (14 to 18 year) – offered through Royal Kingston District Scouts
• Network (18 to 25 years)

Adults can also join in the fun either as Leaders or in a variety of voluntary roles. See our volunteering page. You need never leave Scouting!
