At the start of each term we check our waiting list and fill any spaces we have in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
Join 7th Malden Beavers, Cubs or Scouts
Register your child on our waiting list to join any of our sections. Also register young people 14+ and we will help you join Explorers.
We keep our waiting list on our Parent Portal, Online Scout Manager (“OSM”).
You can check the details we hold for you at any time.
Login using the e-mail address you used when you added your child to the waiting list.
Our waiting list policy
The Scout Group is successful and popular. To continue this we want to build up our adult leadership team. Scout leaders are not paid for what they do: they are all volunteers.
Our waiting list priorities:
- children of adults prepared to help with activities
- siblings of children already in the Scout Group
- finally others from the list, first come first served
Highest priority will be given to adults who are prepared to be uniformed leaders. The Scout Group will provide uniform and relevant training and support at no cost. A range of flexible uniformed and non-uniformed roles are available.
